inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Communication Director of Indonesia Indicator (i2), Rustika Herlambang, revealed the positive sentiments achieved by the Police from various platforms.

She said that the absence of polarization after the general election and regional elections was one of the positive sentiments for the Police.

“Police have achieved a positive sentiment in their national agenda security with a safe and smooth election processions and composed Susi Air Pilot hostage release. We also noted that the absence of polarization post-election becomes the major-play in police gaining the positive sentiment,” says Rustika on Tuesday (12/31/2024).

Director Rustika said that eradication of crime also received attention from netizens or the public on social media. Especially, regarding drugs, online gambling and online loans.

Furthermore, he said that currently there are five platforms that provide sentiment towards the Police. He said that one of the biggest engagements of the Police came from TikTok.

"So over the past year, from the five platforms,there have been 2.1 million posts on social media with an engagement of 53,531,000 from 430,255 accounts," explained Director Rustika.

"Here we see that the biggest engagement related to the Police comes from the TikTok account, with negative sentiment to the Police by 11%. Meanwhile the Instagram account is the second largest account that responds positively to the Police, and in this account only 8% of negative sentiment remains," concludes Director Rustika.
