Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Member of People's Consultative Assembly (DPR) Commission III Arsul Sani praises retired the Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) General Hoegeng Imam Santoso as a truly inspiring figure for all INP members to cultivate a humanistic approach.
During the third installment of the "Internal Strengthening Dialogue of INP" on Tuesday (16/5/2023), he expressed his admiration.
"There are multiple exemplary values that can serve as guiding principles for all INP members. First and foremost, drawing from one of Hoegeng's memorable quotes, it is crucial not only to seek significance but, more importantly, to uphold integrity," he said.
He highlighted the significance of community service, regardless of rank or position within the INP. He also stressed the need for INP members to be open to constructive criticism.
"Community feedback, grounded in facts, is indispensable for progress. Therefore, Hoegeng's thoughts and behaviors can serve as a wellspring of inspiration in the pursuit of establishing a compassionate police force that safeguards, supports, and serves the community," he explained.
This objective aligns with one of the 16 Priority Programs of the Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo aims to enhance the INP's quality of public services.
