Inp.polri.go.id - Surakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has inaugurated the construction of 24 Police Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) across Central Java to support President Prabowo Subianto’s Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) initiative.
"This morning we’re breaking ground for 24 SPPGs to fully support the MBG program," he said during the launch ceremony on Wednesday (25/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The new kitchens are expected to be completed in three months and serve over 90,000 students.
“If successful, the program could expand up to threefold in each district-level police unit,” Chief SIgit added, noting that evaluation will be carried out in coordination with a task force established by Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi.
The SPPGs are designed to serve elementary and secondary school students. Nationally, The INP has built 90 such units, with 12 operational and 21 under review by the National Nutrition Agency.
