inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Nico Afinta prepares human resources in order to face various challenges. The step was taken in order to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045 amidst the unstable geopolitical conditions of the world.

He explained two strategic challenges currently faced by Indonesia, namely the unstable world geopolitical conditions and the global economic slowdown.

Regarding the unstable world geopolitics, Nico highlighted the war between Ukraine and Russia, the war between Israel and Palestine, the war between North Korea and South Korea, and the South China Sea conflict which is located very close to Indonesia.

"The latest is the Israel-Palestine war that is expanding to neighboring countries. Iran has been involved, Turkey has also entered the conflict as they were attacked by terrorists in Syria," said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Meanwhile, regarding the global economic slowdown, there are concerns that the weakening economy and the possibility of a recession in developed countries could suppress the rate of demand for Indonesian export products, increase the benchmark interest rate, thereby putting pressure on the rupiah.

“And this could affect our effort in achieving the 2045 Golden Indonesia,” said Nico.

Therefore, his party will collaborate with the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to improve the quality of human resources in order to respond to these challenges.

Through the improvement of human resources, especially in the civil service environment of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, he hopes that the policies produced by the ministry can be beneficial for all
