inp.polri.go.id - Blora. The Blora Sub-regional Police have successfully uncovered an alleged extortion case that occurred at a restaurant in Blora District by arresting three perpetrators who claimed to be journalists.
"The results of this disclosure are also part of Operation Aman Candi 2025 which was held for 20 days. Meanwhile, the three perpetrators, namely with the initials JS (55), FAP (42), and S (45)," said Blora Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Wawan Andi Susanto in Blora, Monday (5/26/2025).
Wawan explained that the three perpetrators claimed to be journalists and asked the victim for money as compensation for the uploads they had published.
The perpetrators were arrested when they received money from their victims when they met at a restaurant.
During the meeting, the victim and witness MNR (31) handed over some money to one of the suspects, FAP.
Police officers who had previously conducted an investigation immediately arrested the three perpetrators at the same location.
"The investigation is still ongoing to explore the motives of the perpetrators and the possibility of other parties being involved," he said.
The three were charged with Article 368 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code concerning the crime of extortion carried out with violence or threats of violence.
The Blora Sub-regional Police emphasized its commitment to upholding the law and providing protection to the community from all forms of criminal acts.
