Police Rescued a Girl from Aceh from Being Trafficked to Balikpapan

inp.polri.go.id - Aceh. Aceh Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate successfully thwarted the criminal actions of trafficking a 13 year old girl.

“The victim is from Aceh Besar and found at a hotel near Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (1/7/2025),” says the General Criminal Investigation Director of Aceh Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Harianto on Wednesday (1/8/2025).

In his statement, he says that the police caught on the information of the trafficking from the family of the girl. The family went to the Aceh Regional Police Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) to report her missing daughter on Monday (1/6/2025).

“The mother fainted several times as she is worried sick that her child has been missing after school hours. After hearing the news, our investigators moved quickly to track the girl’s whereabouts,” said Ade.

Several days later, police found out that the girl was already in Tangerang, near Soekarno-Hatta airport. She was found at a hotel and was about to be sent to Balikpapan by an unknown person.
