Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. The South Kalimantan Regional Police have confiscated 54.8 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 10,355 ecstasy pills linked to international drug kingpin Fredy Pratama, who remains a fugitive and is listed on Interpol’s wanted list.
"These drugs were seized between late April and early June across seven major cases involving ten suspects tied to Fredy’s network," said South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan during a press conference on Wednesday (4/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The narcotics were trafficked from Malaysia via West Kalimantan and distributed in South Kalimantan and other regions, with the province also serving as a key storage and transit hub.
The South Kalimantan Police investigators are tracing the suspects’ financial networks and asset flows in a bid to bankrupt the syndicate through money laundering charges.
