inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The National Police School (SPN) Belanting of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police did a real action of planting papaya seedlings on land owned by SPN located in East Lombok Regency, it is known that this activity is in order to support the national food security program.
The land that previously has not been used optimally are usually turned to productive land for food security and to provide benefit for the internal of SPN and the locals.
This activity is part of the strategic effort of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police in supporting government programs in fulfilling nutrition needs and improving the food security in the region.
The NTB Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Mohammad Kholid says that the management of empty land fields of Belanting SPN is part of the police concrete movement in supporting sustainable food security.
“This land will be used for papaya seedlings that are rich in nutrition. This is part of our support for the national food security program that gives real contribution for public nutrition needs,” says Mohammad, quoted by gayabekasi on Wednesday (6/11/2025).
According to him, the program not only used the empty land fields but also trained Belanting SPN students to have awareness on the importance of the agriculture sector.
