Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Youth and Sports' Sports Business Fund Management Agency (LPDUK) confirmed on Friday (7/3/2025) that UFC Fight Night in Indonesia has been postponed to 2026 due to government budget efficiency measures.

"The event is now likely to take place in 2026," said LPDUK Director Ferry Yuniarto Kono, as reported by antaranews.com.

He explained that President Prabowo Subianto's administration has implemented budget efficiency policies affecting all ministries, including sports.

As a result, they are prioritizing key sports initiatives while postponing non-essential events, including UFC Fight Night.

Despite the delay, Indonesia remains committed to hosting UFC Fight Night. The Indonesian Sports Promotor (Inaspro), under LPDUK, has engaged with UFC representatives in Macau and is working to meet UFC’s high standards, including venue requirements at Indonesia Arena, which can accommodate 15,000 spectators.
