inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Riza Patria invited all village social elements to work together in optimizing the prevention and reducing stunting in toddlers and pregnant women.
Ahmad Riza says that prevention and reduction of stunting cases play a vital role in ensuring a quality and superior next generation for the future of the state.
"This program is important as stunting in the long term can have an impact on the decline in the quality of human resources, productivity and suboptimal work capacity which will result in economic losses on a national scale," explained Ahmad Riza Patria on Friday (11/8/2024).
He said that his party also held various forums discussing stunting as an effort to prevent it and produce superior human resources (HR) in the future so that they can flourish during the demographic bonus in 2030.
According to him, in 2030 it is estimated that 68 percent of Indonesia's economic sector will be in the hands of the youths, including those born in 2024. Thus, the government is working hard to ensure that the quality of Indonesian human resources are not declining.
Ahmad said that this effort is also in line with achieving President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita point four, namely ensuring quality health and education for all Indonesian people.
"The health sector played a central role in ensuring the welfare of rural communities and the quality of human life," said Ahmad.
He invited all village officials to collaborate in making the program a success. On the other hand, public awareness on the importance of balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle must be improved while providing easy access to quality health and nutrition services.
