Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Minister of Defense Liutenant General (ret) M. Herindra officially declared  on Thursday (19/9/2024),145 students from the Defense University (Unhan) as reserve components for the Indonesian Military (TNI) during a ceremony at the Army Strategic Command (Kostrad) Headquarters in Cilodong, West Java, marking the conclusion of their two-month basic military training.

In his address, he, reading a statement from Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, emphasized the importance of maintaining commitment and professionalism.

“I urge the new reserve components to continuously improve their skills and readiness,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The group includes 793 students from the Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) program and 352 from the Cohort-5 S-1 cadets, with 518 men and 627 women. 

Minister Prabowo praised their dedication and patriotism, highlighting their role in strengthening national defense.

The ceremony was attended by top military officials, including TNI Chief of Staff Liutenant general Richard Tampubolon and Defense University Rector Liutenant General (Ret.) Jonni Mahroza.
