Inp.polri.go.id – Riau. Riau Regional Police held a cross-sectoral coordination meeting for the security of Eid Al-Fitr in the province. The meeting was held at Pangeran Pekanbaru Hotel Ballroom and was also attended by the Acting Governor of Riau SF Haryanto and other related institutions on Thursday (3/28/2024). The Head of Riau Regional Police Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal explains that Ketupat Lancang Kuning Operation (KLK Ops) will be held for 13 days from April 4th to 16th, 2024. The ops will involve 3,508 joint personnel, consisting of 258 personnel of Riau Regional Police, 1,421 from the ranks of regional and sector police, and 1,829 personnel from related stakeholders and institutions. “The aim of this operation is to provide the best service to the people, giving them security and safety insurance during travel,” said Iqbal. Furthermore, Iqbal says that in ensuring smooth and security of the traffic, 62 posts have been prepared which spread across 12 regencies/cities. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and cooperation between parties and units in this operation. He also makes sure his rank would give the best and satisfying service to the public. “This is our moment to demonstrate our commitment in giving the best service to the people.
