Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Data from the Jakarta administration revealed a staggering 93 percent of residents fail to meet physical activity standards, posing a severe risk for cardiovascular diseases.
The findings, derived from the 2025–2026 Free Health Check (CKG) program, also highlight that 74 percent of participants suffer from abnormal blood fat levels, or dyslipidemia.
“Our screenings show the most frequent findings come from cardiovascular risk groups, specifically central obesity and a 93 percent lack of physical activity,” said Jakarta Health Office Head Ani Ruspitawati on Monday (16/2/2026)
The Jakarta administration is now intensifying preventive measures by expanding healthy lifestyle education and physical activity environments across 44 community health centers. With over 4.2 million residents screened last year, authorities are pushing for wider participation to meet the Ministry of Health’s national target of 130 million check-ups by year-end.
