inp.polri.go.id - West Java. The police state that the driver of the Aqua gallon truck in the accident at the Ciawi Toll Gate, named Bendi Wijaya (30) has regained consciousness. However, the driver is still undergoing treatment at the Ciawi Regional Hospital.

"The driver is conscious, but we are still unable to examine him yet," explained the Director of Traffic Unit of the West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ruminio Ardano when confirmed on Friday (2/7/2025).

The Director explained that regarding the investigation into the cause of the accident itself, the results of the Traffic Accident Analysis (TAA) are still in the process of being analyzed.

"The TAA results will be completed at the earliest on Monday," said Ruminio.

Previously, a traffic accident at the Ciawi GT occurred on Tuesday (2/5/2025) at 23.30 WIB. As a result, eight people died and 11 were injured in the incident.
