inp.polri.go.id - Bali. The Bali Regional Police have named three new suspects in the alleged human trafficking case involving prospective crew members of the KM Awindo 2A fishing vessel. With these names, the police have named a total of nine suspects in the human trafficking case involving 21 victims.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Bali Regional Police stated that police investigators have named the suspects.

"Investigators have named and detained three new suspects," he said, as reported by Tempo on Saturday (4/11/2026).

One of the investigators, Police Second Inspector I Putu Untariana, identified the three new suspects as KHS alias Bebek, INN alias Nelsen, and OFM alias Othes. All three had different roles in the human trafficking network involving prospective KM Awindo 2A.

Putu explains that KHS is a police member of Bali Regional Police, who is the colleague of I Putu Untariana. KHS is charged with Article 455 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 58 in conjunction with Article 21 paragraph (1) letters a and b of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments.

"KHS also assisted in the recruitment process, including preparing the victims' documents so they could be employed on the ship," he said.

Suspect INN then served as Director of PT Solusi Kapal Indonesia, which collaborated with PT Awindo International as the ship's agent.

INN is suspected of preparing fictitious Maritime Work Agreement (PKL) documents without listing actual wages. Investigators have charged INN with Article 455 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 49 in conjunction with Article 21 paragraph (1) letters a and b of the Indonesian Criminal Code in conjunction with the Criminal Adjustment Law.
