inp.polri.go.id - Bali. The Bali Regional Police are urging the public to be more vigilant against human trafficking (TPPO) schemes amidst the high number of job offers abroad and between regions. 

This assertion was made by the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ariasandy, in Bali.

"We remind the public not to be easily tempted by high-paying job offers without a clear process. Behind these sweet promises, exploitation and human trafficking practices can be hidden that threaten their safety and future," said Ariasandy on Tuesday (8/4/2026).

He added that perpetrators of human trafficking typically use the lure of high salaries, fast processing, no fees, and hassle-free administration for victims. They then send them illegally, have their documents withheld, and are forced to work beyond the agreed terms.

To prevent and avoid becoming victims of human trafficking, there are several steps that must be taken. Among them, ensure the recruitment company has an official permit from the Ministry of Manpower. 

Check employment contracts carefully before signing and never hand over personal documents such as ID cards, family cards, and passports to unscrupulous parties.

"Let's protect ourselves, our families, and those around us. This crime of human trafficking not only harms victims financially, but also physically and psychologically," Ariasandy emphasized. 

The Bali Regional Police are committed to eradicating human trafficking in Bali and urge anyone who knows or is a suspected victim of human trafficking to immediately report it to the nearest police station or through the 24-hour toll-free hotline 110. The Bali Regional Police will definitely take firm action against the perpetrators.

"Don't stay silent. Don't become the next victim. Together, we will make Bali free of human trafficking. The police are here to protect, serve, and serve the community," concluded Ariasandy.
