Bangka Belitung Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate arrest a man with the initials of AN (41) in Kelapa Hutan street, Bangka Regency when illegally transporting lead sand. “We have confirmed the arrest of AN for illegally transporting lead sand without permit on Tuesday night,” says Bangka Belitung Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Jojo Sutarjo on Wednesday night (1/24/2024). Sutarjo says that the case was revealed after police caught up with the report of lead sand illegal transport and found AN as suspect. Police then followed AN and successfully arrest the suspect when transporting the lead sand at Kelapa Hutan street, Bangka Regency. Furthermore, his party found a vehicle of black Hilux who was transporting the lead sand from Bukit Tulang port. “From our investigation, we have found nine bags of lead sand on the vehicle. The suspect and the evidence have been secured at the police HQ for further examination,” conclude Jojo Sutarjo. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
