The General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Jambi Regional Police have identified dozens suspect who allegedly smashed the Governor Office. “We have profiled dozens of people we suspected as the perpetrators. This was also thanks to all parties who helped us during investigation process by providing their pieces of evidence,” says Jambi Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Andri Ananta Yudhistira on Friday (1/26/2024). Andri ensures that the case will be processed professionally as his party have questioned six witnesses. “The point is, the case will continue to be investigated professionally. As of today, we have not arrest anyone and we do not want to rush thing as we have not yet identify the criminal elements on the case,” said Andri. Previously, a reckless brick truck driver smashed the governor office, damaging main office glasses, decorative lights, shooting lights, hanging lights, air conditioners (AC), and even official cars. Due to the incident, Jambi Regional Government suffered a loss for around hundreds of million rupiahs. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
