inp.polri.go.id – Serang. The Banten Regional Police found 172 business actors violating the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions which entered its 10th day. Banten Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto, said that the 172 business actors generally violated operating hours.
"There are still some business actors who are still opening their places beyond the specified hours. According to the provisions in the Minister of Home Affairs No. 15 of 2021, the deadline for business actors is 08.00 PM and those who sell food are not allowed to provide facilities for eating on the spot. So only can take away/wrapped and eaten at home," explained the Banten Regional Police Chief, Monday (07/12).
The Banten Regional Police Chief said that the police had appealed to these business actors in a humane and persuasive manner. The Regional Police Chief added that of the 172 companies that were prosecuted, 40 were given written warnings, and 132 were given verbal warnings.
The Banten Regional Police Chief warned that if the initial warning is not implemented, business actors will be given strict sanctions in the form of legal proceedings.
"First we give a warning, if a warning has been given but it is not heeded, then we from the COVID-19 Task Force will take firm action," he said.
