Bengkulu Regional Police Chief Laying the First Stone for the Construction of Bengkulu Police Facilities and Infrastructure

Inspector General Guntur Setyanto, together with the Mayor of Bengkulu Helmi Hasan, Monday (07/19/2021) morning laid the first stone for the construction of facilities and infrastructure for the Bengkulu Regional Police. This development is a grant from the Bengkulu City government in the amount of more than IDR 11 billion (USD 920,000). The Bengkulu Regional Police Chief in his speech said that this grant is a form of trust from the people of Bengkulu City to the Police, especially the Bengkulu Regional Police, which later the building can be used for the benefit of members of the Police and the community. "I, as the Bengkulu Regional Police Chief, would like to thank the Bengkulu city government for their full support for the process of building facilities and infrastructure within the Bengkulu Police," explained the Regional Police Chief. The facilities and infrastructure to be built at the Bengkulu Reigonal Police include stands in the field, indoor shooting ranges, construction of roads and parking lots as well as renovation of five units of official houses. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bengkulu said that the Bengkulu Regional Police were part of the people of the city of Bengkulu, for that it was necessary to get support in order to create a security atmosphere that the people of Bengkulu Province could truly feel. Appearing to be present on the occasion was Bengkulu Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Hari Prasodjo, the high-rank official and contractor representatives.
