inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Kramat Jati Bhayangkara Police Hospital has received eight reports of missing persons from the Glodok Plaza fire, West Jakarta.
"From the eight (reports of missing persons) only 2 families have been taken (the DNA tests)," said the Head of the Kramat Jati Bhayangkara Hospital, Brigadier General Prima Heru Yulihartono on Friday (1/17/2025).
According to him, the data on missing persons from the families will be matched with the bodies. The matching includes clothing to DNA tests between the families and the bodies of the victims of the Glodok Plaza fire. He also asked families who have lost their family members in the Glodok Plaza fire to report to the Kramat Jati Bhayangkara Hospital.
“We hope that the more missing reports we have, the more ante mortem data we will collect so that we can immediately match the ante mortem findings," he said.
It is known that the fire occurred on the 7th floor and spread to the 6th, 8th and 9th floors of Glodok Plaza, West Jakarta, last Wednesday night. A total of 14 people are still missing and rescue team is still searching for them
