The Central Java Regional Police searched the custodians of the 226 dogs who have been rescued by the police at Kalinkangkung Semarang Toll Gate before being illegally smuggled by five suspects. “Personnel have been dispatched to the location for mapping,” says the police chief on Tuesday (1/9/2024). The Two-Star General also reiterated that his personnel will also investigate the case further to its roots. “From where they came from, how they butchered them, we will investigate them along with officials from Health Ministry and MUI to assess its health and religious elements,” conclude the police chief.
