Inp.polri.go.id - Palu.  The Chief of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Insp. Gen. Dr Agus Nugroho, led the first roll call at the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Courtyard in early 2024, attended by the Deputy Chief of Police, Brig. Gen. Soeseno Noerhandoko, Chief of Internal Affairs, Senior Superintendent Pol. Asep Adhiatma, and all senior officers and personnel of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police. On the occasion, the Chief of Central Sulawesi extended his New Year greetings and expressed his hope that 2024 would bring not only new aspirations, but also new spirit and motivation. "I call on all personnel to always be grateful for what we have achieved in 2023, various national and regional awards, including from the Ministry of PPA, the Indonesian National Police Chief and the Central Sulawesi administration. In 2023, we have secured national events attended by the President and Vice President, as well as various local activities," he said in his speech on Wednesday (24/01). He said that in supporting the programmes of the central and regional governments, the INP must be ready to maintain the stability of security and public order in Central Sulawesi. "We must prepare ourselves by strengthening our competencies according to our roles. At present, we are in a political year, approaching the simultaneous legislative and presidential elections in 2024. This will undoubtedly make Polri's tasks more difficult and complex in the future, which will require preparation through regular improvement of the competence of the staff, which can be implemented in their future tasks," he clarified. Finally, he hoped that all personnel of the Central Sulawesi Police would work hard and cooperate to achieve security and public order in Central Sulawesi. (mg/fa/pr/nm)
