Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, determined Maluku as the best province in implementing Micro PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) in the country. Governor of Maluku, Murad Ismail, received the award directly from Director of Community Guidance and Development of Maluku Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Andy Ervyn, representing Chief of Indonesia National Police.
Head of Maluku Information Communication Agency, Semmy Huwae said the award is a charter signed by Chief of Indonesia National Police with Number Kep/1088/VI/2021 dated June 29, 2021, It is directed to Provinces and Regencies/Cities that have strategies and effective roles in controlling Covid-19 by implementing micro PPKM. This award motivates all parties in Maluku to fight against Covid-19.
"This award will motivate all parties to be more enthusiastic, including community participation in breaking the chain of Covid-19 spread through stricter implementation of health protocols," Head of Maluku Information Communication Agency, Saturday (07/17/2021).
Director of Community Guidance and Development of Maluku Regional Police directly handed over the award at Governor Murad's private residence in Wailela, Teluk Ambon District, Ambon City. This award is specifically dedicated to the entire medical team as well as Indonesia National Armed Forces-Indonesia National Police who have contributed to control Covid-19 in Maluku.
Head of Maluku Information Communication Agency added at the same day, Governor of Maluku also received Nugraha Satya Bhakti Budaya Cultural Award from the Indonesian Cultural Institute. Nugraha Satya Bhakti cultural award was given to the Governor as the builder of regional arts and tourism.
