inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Communication and Information Ministry officially launched an internal monitoring strengthening strategy on telecommunication infrastructure sector.

“This strategy is a comprehensive program that aims to boost monitoring effectiveness on the telecommunication infrastructure sector,” says the Inspector II of Inspectorate General Communication and Information Ministry, Muhammad Arief on Tuesday (10/1/2024).

Arief says that the effort in improving the monitoring effectiveness is focusing on management enhancement on communication infrastructure projects, improving monitoring methodology, and developing information and communications technology (ICT).

He explained that the main outputs of implementing this strategy include a roadmap for supervision, supervision guidelines, and ICT development, including the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) to support more effective mapping of telecommunications infrastructure.

Furthermore, Arief said that collaboration and synergy between internal parties and external partners are important in implementing supervision.

“Externally, we hope that by accompanying these parties, we can become strategic partners, become trusted advisors in improving the quality of telecommunication infrastructure project management,” adds Arief.

Moreover, he said the strategy was part of the Inspectorate General's way to adapt to the changes that continue to develop in this advanced era.
