Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) emphasized that the policy on handling over-dimension over-loading (ODOL) vehicles is a direct concern of President Prabowo Subianto and the House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia.

According to Coordinating Minister AHY, the ODOL issue has become a national concern due to its broad impact on traffic safety, road infrastructure, and logistics efficiency, which have a significant impact on the national economy.

"The ODOL issue has become a national concern and has received special attention from President Prabowo Subianto and the DPR," said Coordinating Minister AHY, Monday (10/6/2025).

The government is committed to implementing the zero ODOL policy starting January 1, 2027, without delay, as a manifestation of its commitment in maintaining the safety and order of land transportation.

He invited all stakeholders to continue working hard and collaborating so that the implementation of the zero ODOL policy is effective, consistent, and provides real benefits for the community and business actors.

AHY further calls out the urgency of handling ODOL trucks, which has been repeatedly reminded to all levels of government, law enforcement officials, and logistics industry players to immediately take concrete and measurable steps.

He also emphasized the importance of building a strong public narrative so that the public understands that the policy is in favor of safety and welfare, not oppressing drivers or small business owners.
