inp.polri.go.id - Intan Jaya. The 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force Personnel, Brigadier Bagas Al-Bayyinah, held humanistic patrol in Intan Jaya as an effort to maintain conducive security while boosting public relations with the locals.

In the patrol, Bagas not only conduct security patrols, but also directly interact with the locals. Through dialogue, personnel are able to hear the aspirations of the locals while also delivering security messages to them.

Head Ops of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani emphasized that patrol, accompanied by a soft approach is the key to maintain peace in Papua.

“Peace not only maintained through regional security, but can also through a simple personnel presence that can warmly embrace the locals, respect their cultures, and build trust. The Damai Cartenz Operations is here to ensure people feel safe,” says Faizal.

The patrol received a positive response from the local community. They say that security personnel presence are able to make them feel safe and bring calm to the region.

During the activity, the situation in the Intan Jaya area was observed to be safe and conducive. This patrol is part of the police's commitment to maintaining security and peace in Papua, while also strengthening harmonious relations between security forces and the community.
