inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Provincial Government will implement the Work From Home (WFH) police for employees in the city and Distance Learning (PJJ) for students in response to weather conditions for the next few days.
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has given approval to the Manpower Agency (Disnaker) to issue a circular regarding WFH.
"I have given approval to the Manpower Agency to implement what is known as 'Work From Home,'" said Governor Pramono, Friday (1/23/2026).
Furthermore, Governor Pramono has also authorized the Head of the Jakarta Education Agency to issue a circular regarding PJJ, or "school from home," in response to the extreme weather that has caused flooding.
"Both have issued circulars; the Manpower Agency's is for the workers, while the Education Agency's is for the students," said Governor Pramono.
He explained that this was done to maintain public safety and reduce traffic congestion.
Pramono explained that heavy rainfall can cause flooding and traffic problems.
"I'm confident this will ensure the teaching and learning process in schools continues smoothly," said Governor Pramono.
He stated that the policy will be in effect until January 27th. However, if necessary, it will be extended.
Governor Pramono stated that this also applies to companies and private schools in Jakarta.
