Inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. Joint officers from the Damai Cartenz Task Force conducted foot patrols and community engagements in Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua, on Saturday (26/9/2026)6.

The security operation aimed to maintain public order while building persuasive, trust-based communications with local residents to ensure smooth daily activities.

Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani said that operational field units prioritize community-oriented approaches alongside tactical readiness. 

"Field executions must lead with a humanist posture to build trust and deliver active safety for the public," he affirmed.

Deputy Head of the Task Force Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that direct dialogue opens crucial channels for residents to share local security insights. 

Local resident Mama Samuel welcomed the security presence, noting the regular patrols foster safety and strengthen relationships between community members and law enforcement personnel across Puncak Jaya.
