Densus 88 and KP2MI Held Socialization for Prospective PMI

inp.polri.go.id - East Jakarta. The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Prevention Directorate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI), held a four-day National Socialization (SOSBANG) program for 302 prospective Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). The program took place on July 9, 11, 14, and 16, 2025, at the BP3MI DKI Jakarta Hall in Ciracas, East Jakarta.

This program aimed to increase national awareness and ideological resilience among prospective PMI before they departed for their destination countries. 

Nine speakers from the police force, including members of the Indonesian National Police's Islamic preachers (Daiyah Polri), attended the event. They provided important information on preventing radicalism and intolerance, particularly those that could potentially target Indonesian migrant workers abroad.

In their presentations, the team of speakers educated participants about the dangers of Intolerance, Radicalism, and Terrorist Extremism (IRET)*, which often target vulnerable groups such as Indonesian migrant workers. Preventive methods include:
