East Java Police Chief Orders Firm Action Against Officer for Alleged Sexual Abuse

Inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. East Java Regional Police Chief Imam Sugianto ordered  firm action against an officer, known as K (53), from Sawahan Police Office in Surabaya, accused of sexually abusing his stepdaughter for years. 

East Java Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Dirmanto confirmed K's status as a suspect and his detention at the Tanjung Perak Surabaya Port Police Headquarters. 

Investigations are ongoing, conducted by the East Java Police's Professionalism and Security (Propam) Division andt the Surabaya Metropolitan Sub-regional Police. 

K faces potential dismissal if found guilty, Chief Dirmanto said.
