Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. East Java Regional Police have declared Gelora Madura Ratu Pamelingan Stadium (SGMRP) fit to serve as Madura United’s home ground for the 2025–2026 Super League season, following a security risk assessment.
“The stadium scored 60.80 percent in our assessment, which places it in the 'adequate' category,” said Budi Sulistianto, the Head of the Risk Assessment Team from the East Java Police Police Directorate of Vital Object Security (Ditpamobvit) on Saturday evening (26/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The score was based on several parameters, namely infrastructure (10.79%), health (10%), competition risk (12.22%), security management (10.31%), safety (10%), and information systems (7.5%).
While SGMRP is deemed eligible, the police issued notes for improvement to be addressed by the club.
Madura United’s Security Officer, Sapto Wahyono, confirmed this year’s score improved from last season’s 58 percent, adding that the stadium must complete key upgrades, such as generator area safety and CCTV monitoring, before gaining full clearance.
