inp.polri.go.id – Investigators from the General Crime Investigation Directorate (Dirkrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya have named Faisal Marasabessy as the suspect in the assault case of Justin Frederick on the Inner City Toll Road, Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta. "One person has been named as a suspect, Faisal Marasabessy, a 22-year-old male, due to the assault he committed," said the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, S.I.K, M.Sc., at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (6/6/22). This incident which was gone viral in social media, happened due to a commotion between Faisal and JF, the victim, in the toll road. Currently the son of the Chairman of Pemuda Pejuang Bravo 5, Ali Fanser Marabessy, is being detained and charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code or Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison. As seen in the viral video, a sedan car driver, JF, was beaten by other drivers on the Gatot Subroto Toll Road in the direction of Cawang. The beating went viral on social media. During the incident, a man in a maroon shirt was seen hitting and kicking JF in the face who was wearing a light green shirt. Another man dressed in batik approached to intervene, but the commotion still continued. As a result of this incident, JF's face was bleeding due to the abuse by the perpetrator.
