Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten remains disrupted as flooding continues to affect the Soedyatmo Toll Road, forcing authorities to divert traffic.
"Floodwaters are still accumulating near KM 26, close to the Cengkareng-Airport intersection. While vehicles can pass, traffic flow remains disrupted," said Soekarno-Hatta Airport Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Ronald Sipayung on Thursday (30/1/2025).
Flood levels have reached 10 cm at KM 26, 40 cm at KM 26+400, and 50 cm at KM 26.400 on Jalur B, prompting traffic diversions onto elevated routes at KM 21 and KM 28 B.
While road access remains affected, the airport itself is flood-free, with normal flight operations and smooth passenger movement.
Authorities advise travelers to depart earlier to avoid delays.
"Traffic remains congested near the Kamal-PIK Toll Gate, so we urge passengers to plan ahead," Chief Ronald said.
