Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Google Cloud has launched its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Indonesia, offering AI-powered cybersecurity services hosted at its Jakarta data center to enhance cyber resilience across both public and private sectors.
“It marks our long-term commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s cybersecurity landscape,” said Fanly Tanto, the Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, on Thursday (17/7?2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The SOC enables organizations, particularly those in regulated sectors such as finance and government, to meet local data residency requirements while leveraging advanced threat detection tools powered by artificial intelligence.
The launch is supported by the “Indonesia BERDaiA for Cybersecurity” program, which partners with five institutions to provide independent security assessments and close the cybersecurity talent gap through hands-on training.
Google Cloud also reaffirmed its collaboration with Indonesia’s cyber agency, BSSN. Over 20 institutions have already adopted the platform.
This initiative is part of the BISA program, led by the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council and U.S. Embassy.
