Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid defended the government’s decision to air program advertisements in cinemas, calling it a form of public transparency.
“We see this as transparency. The public must know what programs are running, how they are implemented, and their outcomes,” she told reporters after a closed-door meeting with Commission I of the House of Representatives in Jakarta on Monday (15/9/2025)), as reported by antaranews.com.
The ads, shown before films, highlight President Prabowo Subianto’s initiatives, including the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program reaching 20 million beneficiaries since January 2025, 5,800 operational nutrition service units, 80,000 village cooperatives, 100 community schools, and national rice output hitting 21.76 million tons by August.
