Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The government will provide Rp 600,000 (approx. USD 37) wage subsidy to 17.3 million low-income workers as part of a five-part economic stimulus package set to roll out between June and July 2025.

“This fourth package targets workers and honorary teachers, providing a wage subsidy to 17.3 million individuals earning below Rp3.5 million or below the regional minimum wage,” said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati on Monday (2/6/2025) at the Presidential Office..

Eligible workers registered with the Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) will receive the subsidy as a one-time payment in June, covering the June–July period.

An additional 565,000 honorary teachers—under both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs—will also receive Rp 600,000 in wage support, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The government has allocated Rp 10.72 trillion (approx. USD 660 million) from the national budget for this program. It also extended a 50% discount on workplace accident insurance premiums for 2.7 million labor-intensive industry workers.
