inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Arifah Fauzi, stated that the government is committed to strengthening women's empowerment and child protection in Lampung Province.

"Efforts to protect women and children cannot be done alone. We are encouraging the use of the Indonesian Joint Space (RBI) so that the spirit of mutual cooperation is truly felt by the community," she said on Tuesday (9/30/2025).

In addition, she also encouraged regional governments to align and optimize gender-responsive budgets in districts/cities in Lampung. Optimizing Non-Physical Special Allocation Funds (DAK Non-Physical) is important so that protection services for victims of violence reach communities down to the village and sub-district levels.

"Regional governments must be fair to all genders, optimize responsive budgets, and utilize Non-Physical DAK down to the village level. We greatly appreciate the innovation of Tapis Village, which is an example of the implementation of RBI at the village level," she explained.

Meanwhile, Lampung Deputy Governor Jihan Nurlela emphasized her readiness to strengthen women- and child-friendly policies. To facilitate reporting, the Lampung Provincial Government has provided an online complaint channel through the 'Lampung-in' website.

"Lampung has achieved the best KLA Profile for three consecutive years. However, cases of violence have continued to increase over the past five years, particularly sexual violence and domestic violence," she explained.
