inp.polri.go.id - Blora. The Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of Blora 1 prepares 2,390 portions of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) daily to meet the nutritional needs of beneficiaries in 18 schools.
The menus served not only consider portion size but also nutritional content and food safety before being distributed to beneficiaries.
Denny Daniswara, Head of the SPPG of the Blora 1, stated that each menu item has undergone nutritional calculations for both small and large portions. The menus are also designed to meet a week's needs, taking into account food variety.
"The nutritional content of the menus we prepare has been calculated for both small and large portions. The menus are also prepared for the following week, taking into account the menu cycle and different food variations each week," said Denny in Blora, Saturday (9/26/2026).
The calculations include energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and fiber, adjusted to the Recommended Dietary Intake (RDA).
The Blora 1 SPPG began operations on October 13, 2025. Currently, the service distributes MBG to 18 schools, with a total of 2,390 beneficiaries.
Every day, approximately 1,800 large portions and 590 small portions are prepared for beneficiaries from early childhood education (PAUD), kindergarten, vocational high school, and B3 levels in Ngampon, Jomblang, Seso, and Brumbung villages.
Inspections are carried out through several stages. One of these is a chemical examination to detect the possible presence of hazardous substances, such as formaldehyde. This testing is also conducted periodically through laboratory tests.
Officers then conduct organoleptic examinations, examining the color, aroma, taste, texture, and appearance of the food to ensure it is in good condition and meets standards.
Microbiological examinations are also conducted to detect the possible presence of bacteria or other microorganisms that could be harmful to health.
"Inspections are conducted thoroughly, from raw food ingredients to processed food, all the way through to food ready for distribution to beneficiaries. Therefore, the provision of MBG at the Blora 1 SPPG not only takes into account portion sizes and nutritional content, but also ensures food safety before consumption," he said.
