Helping Victims of Semeru Mountain Eruption, Central Java Regional Police Sends Logistics and DVI Team

inp.polri.go.id – Semarang. Central Java Regional Police sends personnel and social aids for the victims of the Semeru mountain eruption in Lumajang, East Java. The aid delivery is embedded in the Aman Nusa 2 Task Force. The delivery was departed by Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarter on Monday (13/12/21). Chief of Central Java Regional Police said that the Aman Nusa 2 Task Force Operation was formed to help the victims of Semeru eruptions. "The Aman Nusa 2 Task Force has been formed since December 6, 2021. The Task Force is divided into three parts, such as Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team", the Chief of Central Java Regional Police said. In his opening statement, Chief of Central Java Regional Police that three teams formed by Central Java Regional Police are led by the Chief of Medicine and Health Agency of Central Java Regional Police. All Departmental Police in Central Java Regional Police has departed some of their personnel to assist East Java Regional Police and the victims of Semeru mountain. He continued that Central Java Regional Police is strengthening the team, thereby deploying ten platoons such as trauma healing and medicines. Besides medicines, Central Java Regional Police also sends toys for kids at the disaster location. "This aid is to strengthen our personnel there and also to alleviate the burden of the victims of Semeru eruption", Chief of Central Java Regional Police said. On the same occasion, the Chief of Central Java Regional Police also said that, besides the Central Java Regional Police personnel, personnel from the Mobile Brigade would also conduct social service at the disaster location. "We hope that this depart is the form of service, based on the sincerity of every personnel and community", Chief of Central Java Regional Police said.
