Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate General of Immigration has found indications of immigration violations after inspecting 1,698 foreign workers in West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“Sixty-four foreign workers were found living at addresses different from those listed in their limited stay permits, and 43 were working at unregistered sites,” said Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman on Sunday (5/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The inspection also revealed that several workers were using C22 visit visas for purposes inconsistent with their permits, while some companies failed to report their full list of sponsored employees.
The Immigration Task Force for Mining and Industrial Areas conducted the operation on 30 September and 1 October 2025, supported by immigration intelligence and compliance teams from the NTB regional office.
Yuldi said the patrol task force was formed to tighten oversight in high-mobility mining zones and ensure all expatriates comply with stay and work regulations, strengthening legal order in key industrial areas.
