Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation has confirmed that it has not yet received any permit applications for the establishment or operation of Indonesia Airlines, despite recent reports circulating in the media.
"As of today, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has not received any formal application regarding the establishment or operation of this scheduled commercial airline," said Mokhammad Khusnu, the Ministry’s Acting Head of International Cooperation, Public Relations, and General Affairs, on Monday (10/3/2025).
According to Ministerial Regulation No. PM 35/2021, all scheduled airlines must obtain a Standard Certificate for Commercial Air Transport and an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) as per PM 33/2022 before commencing operations.
The ministry said that it will continue monitoring developments regarding Indonesia Airlines and provide updates as necessary, according to antaranews.com.
