Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower is strengthening cooperation with Austria in vocational training for tourism and welding.
“Austria’s support covers full funding, knowledge transfer, management enhancement, curriculum development, and capacity building for training personnel,” said Minister of Manpower Yassierli in a statement on Tuesday (12/8/2025), as reported by antaranews.com..
The partnership will be implemented through the development of the Banyuwangi Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP), marked by the signing of the Development of Vocational Training Center document during the inauguration of the vocational school and workshop operations.
Minister Yassierli expected that the industry-standard facility would help Banyuwangi’s youth compete in domestic and global job markets.
Austrian Ambassador Thomas Loidl said the program aims to open more jobs.
Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Agung Nur Rohman said it includes workshop construction, equipment procurement, European-standard curriculum development, and instructor training.
