Inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated the “Maung Presisi” Patrol Team at Banten Regional Police Headquarters on Tuesday (12/8/2025), alongside the launch of new police facilities and an inspection of low-cost food distribution.
The 87-member unit, divided into eight teams, will focus on high-crime areas with rapid-response capabilities.
“We hope this team can be present where the community most needs police,” Chief Sigit said, as reported by antaranews.com
New facilities include a hall, Baiturrahman Mosque, a renovated headquarters façade, and an Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT).
Chief Sigit also oversaw the distribution of 27 tons of Stabilization of Supply and Price of Food (SPHP) rice, sold at Rp 60,000 per 5 kg, which is below the government’s highest retail price,—s part of a nationwide 2,225-ton distribution program.
Banten Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto said the team is “the frontline ready to act swiftly, precisely, and humanely,” while also strengthening community relations.
