Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesia’s national track cycling team secured the top two podium spots in the Men’s Elite Madison event at the Japan Intercollegiate Cycling Federation (JICF) International Track Cup held at Tipstar Dome Chiba, Japan, on Saturday (7/6/2025).

Bernard Van Aert and Muhammad Andy Royan won gold, followed by teammates Terry Yudha Kusuma and Julian Abi Manyu taking silver. Taipei’s Jing Feng Li and En Teng Zhang took third place, according to antaranews.com.

The points earned are vital for qualifying for the World Championships in October in Chile, where entry depends on accumulated points rather than qualification races. The team is also gathering points toward the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Indonesia’s riders continue competing in the Omnium event, aiming for another strong finish.
