Citing the International Court of Justice, Indonesia reiterated that Israel’s annexation plan of Palestinian territory is illegal and that any Israeli action cannot alter the territory’s legal status, according to antaranews.com.
Jakarta urged the UN Security Council and the international community to take concrete steps to halt Israel’s actions.
Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to a free and sovereign Palestine through a Two-State Solution, which includes universal recognition of Palestine, a ceasefire, and allowing Palestinians to determine their own future.
