JAKARTA - Indonesia National Police synergizes with students in handling Covid-19 in national vaccination activity initiated by several student alliances, including BEMNUS, BEMSI, PTMI, PTKIN, PTAI, PERMIKOMNAS, and AMAN INDONESIA at Bulungan Sport Center, South Jakarta, Wednesday (07/14) /2021).
This activity was held in collaboration between students and Indonesian National Police by involving 30 Student Executive Boards from the 7 Alliances which included several universities in Greater Jakarta area with total of 1,566 students participating in the vaccine.
Vaccination activity was held as a manifestation of Indonesia National Police’s and student’s concern about the condition of nowaday situation as number of Covid-19 is increasing day by day. This activity involves Health Workers of Medical and Health Center of Indonesia National Police Headquarter, active students from health faculty and joint alliance of health student alumni.
Indonesia National Police distributed 1,600 Sinovac Vaccines and another 1,600 packages donated directly by Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si to all vaccination participants who attended the activity.
This activity was directly monitored by Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces, Marshal Dr. Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P along and Minister of Health of Republic of Indonesia Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, CHFC, CLU.
“Once again, thank you to fellow students who are always at the frontline. We hope it can be contunued. Let's do this vaccination together so we can achieve herd immunity and Indonesia can be healthy again," Listyo said.
In this case, it is expected these activities can help government to deal with Covid-19 pandemic and have good impact to community, especially students.
