Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia firmly opposes any efforts to change Palestine’s demographics and remains committed to supporting a Two-State Solution, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono said on Monday (17/3/2025).
During a meeting in Jakarta with Palestinian President’s Special Envoy Mahmoud Al-Habbash, he reaffirmed Indonesia’s diplomatic, humanitarian, and reconstruction support for Palestine.
“Indonesia rejects any attempt to alter Palestine’s demographics and will actively support a Two-State Solution,” Minister Sugiono said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The discussion also addressed Gaza’s humanitarian crisis and the need for post-war reconstruction. Indonesia is working with civil society and philanthropic organizations to send aid, including the construction of a maternal and child hospital in Gaza.
Envoy Al-Habbash expressed gratitude for Indonesia’s consistent support and humanitarian assistance.
