Inp.polri.go.id - Manado. Indonesia’s Amateur Boxing National Team claimed five medals at the Four Corners Boxing Championship held in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, from 18 to 20 September 2025.
Out of five competing athletes, the team secured three golds, one silver, and one bronze.
“Praise God, all Indonesian boxers brought home medals,” said team manager Osco Olfriady Letunggamu, who also serves as Treasurer of the Indonesian Boxing Association (Pertina) on Sunday (21/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
He credited the achievement to hard work and long-term dedication.
Gold medals went to Yoshua Holy Masihor (54 kg), Eliezer Gonzales (60 kg), and Alfino Caesar (75 kg). Krispinus Mariano Wonda (51 kg) earned silver, while Mohammad Reza Midun (69 kg) took bronze.
Senior coach and former SEA Games gold medalist Dufri Masihor praised the athletes’ discipline, while coach Vinky Montolalu highlighted that producing champions requires years of training.
