Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Indonesian Embassy in London has formally lodged a complaint against British adult film actress Tia Emma Billinger, known as Bonnie Blue, over a provocative act involving the Indonesian national red-and-white flag in front of the embassy building.
“Our Embassy in London has submitted an official complaint to the relevant UK authorities, including the Foreign Office and local police, for further handling in accordance with applicable laws and procedures,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yvonne Mewengkang said on Wednesday (24/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The incident occurred on 15 December 2025, local time, and was widely circulated on social media. The ministry stressed that the Red and White flag represents Indonesia’s sovereignty and dignity and must be respected anywhere. Freedom of expression, it added, cannot justify actions that demean another country’s national symbols.
The embassy has coordinated closely with UK authorities and urged the public to remain calm and not be provoked by the circulating content. Bonnie Blue has previously been deported from Indonesia and banned from re-entry for 10 years over immigration violations.
